The CCD sessions are an initiative led by the PhD students (IFIs) from the IAA. This sessions include two proposals: talks and scientific cinema, both held in a relaxed atmosphere.
The talks try to serve as a frame for discussion about the latest scientific topics, review of those which could be of interest or introductory to the different activities done in the Center.
The scientific cinema, on the other hand, has the intention of creating a discussion about how the Seventh Art have been interpreting science, promoting a critic actitude about scientific divulgation and a debate about the subjects that appeared in the films.
