The radiative transfer problem is considered and the transfer equation illustrates further discussions. The subjects under survey are mainly the obtention of the temperature profiles by inversion profile techniques, Fabry-Perot interferometric determinations of line broadening, hydroxyl rotational temperatures, lidar measures and the thermalization regions of far infrared emissions.-from Authors
