Latest results on Anomalous Microwave Emission from the COSMOSOMAS Experiment

In the last few years, there is increasing evidence of a new process of microwave emission in our Galaxy, different from the classical processes of free-free, synchrotron and (thermal) dust emission. In this talk I will review the progress made by the IAC CMB group in the study of this new process using the COSMOSOMAS experiment. With this instrument, we have found direct evidence of anomalous emission in the Perseus molecular cloud. In addition, we have also obtained indication of this signal at high galactic latitudes (|b|>30). All these measurements are compatible with the predictions of a recently proposed family of models known as "spinning dust".
