Al comparar magnitudes observadas y sintéticas de longitudes de onda y sistemas de filtros distintos, es frecuente encontrarse con errores sistemáticos debidos a la calibración.

GRB 050319 (z = 3.24) and GRB 050401 (z = 2.9) are long duration and distant GRBs. Their afterglows show unusual and interesting features. We have modeled these afterglows using Fireball Model. We show that GRB 050401 afterglow provides another case for 'Double Jet' at a redshift of 2.9.

I review theoretical arguments which suggest only high mass stars can form from primordial gas. But low-mass extremely metal poor stars do exist and so the question of whether they formed from primordial gas, and later accreted their metals from the interstellar medium, does arise.

It is well-established that clusters are dominated by red galaxies wirh old stellar populations, while the field population consists mostly of blue galaxies with younger stars. The origin of this relation may be due to 'nature' or 'nurture'.

Dwarf galaxies are the most common galaxies in the Universe. They are systems believed to consist of matter in a near-primordial state, from which giant galaxies probably form. As such, they are important probes for studying matter in its near-primordial state.

It has been known for a long time, that the cosmic SFR has declined by 3-10 fold since redshift ~1. Since major mergers are effective triggers of star formation and have been more common in the past, it has been argued that the decline is driven by the merger evolution.

Observational evidence suggests that Radio Galaxies are hosted by massive elliptical galaxies (M_sun=10**[11.5-12]) at every redshift. Using Spitzer we can for the first time measure the peak of the stellar luminosity at rest-frame NIR.

The Hubble Ultra Deep Field (UDF) provides us with our deepest view to date of the visible universe. The UDF ACS images cover twice the area of the previous Hubble Deep Fields and are about 1 magnitude deeper.
