Abstract:
The Cygnus Superbubble is a ring-like structure associated with atomic and molecular gas, dust and objects related to recent star forming activity. Its origin and nature has been interpreted both as a single structure originated in OB associations or as an arrangement of unrelated objects. We present a high resolution spectroscopic study of this region designed to probe the velocity and density structure of the gas associated with the Superbubble.
