This talk presents a way to find Type I Active Galactic Nuclei in the MaNGA survey (Mapping Nerby Galaxies at Apache point observatory). The method is based on flux ratios between spectral regions where a broad line in emission is expected. Likewise, the spectroscopic analysis of 44 galaxies with nuclear activity is shown; as well as the estimation of the mass of supermassive black holes and the effect that the active nucleus has on stellar formation.
