SO Instrumentation School VII. Metrology with PC-DMIS on a portable Romer Absolute Arms

The objectives of this course are explaining the basic guidelines for the use and handling of a measuring arm as well as getting competences in the basics of hadling the Arm with PC-DMIS. The outline of the course is as follows: • Assembling the ROMER arm. • Communicating with the arm (Wifi, wire). • Calibrating probes. • Measuring without a theoretical 3D CAD. • Measuring geometrical shapes. • Practices using the simulator mode of PC-DMIS. • Measuring with a theoretical 3D CAD. • Verifying the arm.
