Today, November 8th, the Granada candidature for "City of Science" has been announced, with the participation of all scientific institutions of the city.
The mayor of Granada, Francisco Cuenca, has conducted a public event in which he has introduced the proposal submitted yesterday to the Secretary of State for Science and Innovation. Representatives of the Government of Andalusia, the University of Granada, The Technological Health Park, the Higher Council for Scientific Research and the Science Park have attended the event.
The "City of Science and Innovation" award recognizes leading cities that have supported infrastructure investments that foster economic sustainability and enhance our growth pattern based on knowledge and innovation.
The deadline for the resolution of the call will be April 2017.
